Mobile app development for Thai companies
CODEMONDAY is a mobile app development company in Bangkok. We build iOS and Android apps from one React Native codebase, with secure sign-in, PIN management and the back end behind them. Our work includes mobile banking for Thai Credit Bank, connected to its AS400 core. After Go-live, we look after the app under MA and CR. CODEMONDAY is ISO/IEC 27001 certified.

Cross-platform app
A cross-platform app runs on both iOS and Android from one codebase, for example one written in React Native. You build and update one app for both stores, and each phone still gets a native feel.
What we build for mobile
Banking and insurance apps
Customer apps with secure sign-in, PIN set-up and authorization, connected to the core system, like mobile banking for Thai Credit Bank.
Field and operations apps
Apps for people at work in the field, like Kubota K-iField, where farmers measure and plan their plots from satellite maps.
Progressive web apps (PWA)
Apps that open in the browser, sit on the home screen and work offline, like the BETAGRO app for contract farmers' daily work.
The back end behind the app
APIs, databases and the staff back office the app depends on, built by the same team as the app.
Sign-in, OTP and notifications
OTP by SMS, push notifications and sign-in through an app customers already use, as with My B+ for BDMS patients.

How we build mobile apps
Systems our apps connect to
IBM AS/400 core banking | Bank APIs | Payment gateways | SMS gateway and OTP | Push notifications | Back-office systems
One codebase, 2 platforms
React Native lets one team ship the iOS and Android apps together and keep them in step.
Security from the first screen
We design authentication, authorization and PIN management early, under our ISO/IEC 27001 certified process.
Connected to your core
We connect the app to the systems it needs, such as an AS400 core banking system, bank APIs or a payment gateway.
Tested before each release
Security, performance and UAT tests run before Go-live, then the app rolls out in a controlled release.
How app pricing works
Cost depends on the scope: the screens and features, the back end the app needs, and the systems it connects to. After a free first consultation, we send an assessment and a quotation.
Fixed scope
For a clear brief. We agree the scope, the price and the plan before the build starts.
Monthly team
For a product that keeps changing. Our team works through your roadmap each month, with support included.
MA and CR after Go-live
MA (maintenance) keeps the system healthy under an agreed SLA. A CR (change request) adds a new feature and is quoted on its own.
Technology we use
React Native | TypeScript | Node.js | NestJS | Golang | PostgreSQL | Firebase | AWS
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to build an app?
It depends on the screens, features, back end and integrations the app needs. After a free first consultation, we send an assessment and a quotation for your scope.
How long does it take to build a mobile app?
A first release typically takes a few weeks to a few months. Apps that connect to complex systems, such as core banking, are planned in phases.
Native or cross-platform: which is better?
For most business apps we recommend cross-platform, with one React Native codebase for iOS and Android. One team keeps both apps in step, so updates reach every user together.
Does a mobile app need a back-end system?
Usually, yes. The app needs APIs, a database and often a back office for staff, and we build all 3 together with the app.
Can the app connect to our existing systems?
Yes. Thai Credit Bank's mobile banking connects directly to the bank's AS400 core, and the bank kept its core system as it was.
Who looks after the app after launch?
CODEMONDAY looks after it under MA with an agreed SLA. New features come in as CRs, each one quoted on its own.
